Yeah that is the problem with some cards it depends on the revision # as well since chipset/firmware has a big impact. That is why I need info on a current "G" that works well. Thanks for the info though. Every little bit helps.

I've had luck with my Linksys WPC11 (first gen) on my Thinkpad a22m
under FC1 through FC3. That said, a friend got a more recent version of
the same card which she couldn't get working.
