Which debian version are you running?

I use 3.1 r0a here.

What do you have installed for wx?

I have:
ii  libwxgtk2.4          2.4.3.1    wxWindows Cross-platform C++ GUI toolkit (GTK+ runtime)
ii libwxgtk2.4-python 2.4.3.1 wxWindows Cross-platform C++ GUI toolkit (wxPython binding)
ii  wxwin2.4-examples    2.4.3.1    wxWindows Cross-platform C++ GUI toolkit (examples)

I have a bunch of stuff for python. I wonder if there is a package you
are missing, although if that is the case, I think there is a dependancy
bug that should be reported.
