Well there has to be something equivalent, perhaps under Windows using 
the original manufacturer's software. Lithium batteries are too 
different to be able to report accurate capacity without this. Either 
that, or the manufacturer did not do the cycling at the factory 
properly and the chip in the battery 'lies'. If you have a second 
battery try it and see if it does the same thing. If it does, then it's 
likely the laptop, else the battery you need to look at.
