OpenSolaris?

I note that Sun is opening the Solaris code under the CDDL (cuddle -
a bit of clever marketing, that).  I'd be interested in hearing a
presentation of the differences between Linux and Solaris, and/or an
assessment of the CDDL license and/or a "What this code and these 1600
patents mean to Linux" talk.  Is there a Sun office in Toronto who might
send a non-marketing flack to a TLUG meeting?
