I'm using OpenSuSE and adding a repository was okay. My first problem
was using a mirror that didn't have a complete collection.

This page has a list of opensuse mirrors and links to the repositories:
http://www.opensuse.org/Mirrors_Released_Version

The process to add a repository seems pretty much the same as with 9.3

I'm not sure if there is a major difference between SUSE 10.0 and
OpenSUSE other than some proprietary packages (java, acrobat reader,
etc.) that are not included in OpenSUSE.
