There is a computer shop on Yonge some 2 blocks south from Bloor
(I don't remember precisely) that sets out free parts on the sidewalk
every Thursday evening.  (I don't remember the day precisely, either,
but I think it was Thursday).

Either way, I think not paying at all means assembling it yourself
from parts.
