> Fooey ! I reported Thunderbird woes earlier in the week (and a kludgy workaround) and was hoping that would be the last of the 100%CPU "Tlunderbirds are lost in deep space" application seizure.. no such luck. It has happened again several times , and lopping off the end of the mbox no longer un-borks it. It's even worse now, because I disabled several filters, and the borking content (that I imagine must exist) get's plunked in my Inbox. As a result, because BoomBird starts with the Inbox, It locks up every time the application starts.

Very interesting... if people will recall, I posted that I lost some
email and whatnot. Well, it was because when I opened the tlug folder
the bird went off into deep space and never came back. My fix was to
echo "" > tlug.sbd or whatever the hell the file was.
I have a metric ton of folders, and it was *only* the tlug folder that
caused the problem. Interesting - I'd like to find out what the specific
issues was, as it's happened once again since then.
