Yes, you can install Slack into an existing linux partition.
During the installation process, you'll be prompted to set up your
partitions. Since you're going to use an existing partition, all you
need to do is select and reformat the one that has Mandrake on it.

Before you do anything, be sure to read the Slackware-HOWTO.txt document
that's included in the readme's. This gives you detailed instructions
for the entire install process.
