Kamera, a KDE application, supports the PowerShot A80 so it should support 
the A75. I found gphoto had one annoying quirk. Regardless of where I told 
gphoto it should put downloaded photos, it insisted on putting them 
somewhere else. Kamera has worked flawlessly.
