Point taken. Amended to: 'intellectually bankrupt neo-con corporate-bum-boy
neanderthals who have run the country since 1962' :-D

In all seriousness, I have always been mystified by the apparent dichotomy
between what I've experienced personally interacting with Americans and the
behaviour of their 'elected' officials, not to mention the gargantuan divide
between what they have written down on paper (the Constitution) and actual
public policy.
