problem compiling kernel

Hi ,
I'm trying to compile the 2.6.4 kernel and I get the error below when it 
tries to compile fs/proc/array.o . Can anyone suggest how I go about 
getting this to work. I've only compiled a couple of previous Kernels 
but never ran into a snag like this.
