It depends do you know if the file system is HFS , HFS+ , or HFS+
Journeled , or the UNIX file system that is native to MacOS X. Most
likely it is HFS+ and then the answer is no. "Easiest" solution is to
mount it on MacOS X or Mac-on-Linux ;-)
