But you might not want to automount removable media. I generally don't.

I think we might have the same kind: a silverish unit called an 
ImageMate CF SDDR-91? Mine works fine under USB1.

I'm afraid I can't be of much help, since I run devfs, and thus the 
syntax is very different.
