RH9 question

I just installed Redhat9 on a home PC with 2 ethernet cards, one to the internet
and the other to a home based lan.
The internet is on 24.x.x.x and the ip for the linux machine on the home
is 10.1.1.111.

A windows machine on 10.1.1.2 can ping 10.1.1.111 and vice versa.
The linux machine can go out on the internet using fqdn, www.netscape.com whatever.

The windows machine can ping ip addresses like 192.75.71.34, but cannot
use domain names, like www.netscape.com

I have tried to train windows to use the dns that linux uses (I used dig on
linux to get the dns server it is using).

I setup iptables on linux.

Is there a setting in linux I need to add/modify?

Thanks,
David
