Hi guys,

Feel free to spread this around to other LUGs in the GTA and ON.  I believe
that successful candidates could start immediately.

Title: Junior Linux Technical Writer

Responsibilities:

        * Basic Item Writing for Linux exams and certifications
        * Copy Editing of Linux-related material
        * Data Entry
        * Review of contributed content for copyright purposes

Specific LPI projects that a Junior Technical Writer may work on include:

        * Update of existing Level 1 exams
        * Development of new entry-level Linux and Open Source exam
        * Copy Editing of Level 2 exams and website
        * Quality Control

Details:

- Basic Item Writing: assignments will be given to work on low-level exam
  content.
- Copy editing assignments: review copy for grammatical and technical accuracy.
- Data Entry: database entry through web forms of items, tasks, or other
  web content.
- Quality Control: review published content and cross reference with existing
  LPI materials to ensure author validity and exam security


Pre-requisites:
- advanced skill level in Linux system administration
- excellent written communication skills
- detail-orientated and an ability to work in virtual environments
- demonstrated initiative and an aptitude for technical research
