linux compiler tools for C

Hi,
In my opinion, Linux is absolutely better. Linux and C are so close that I
learned them in the same course (at York U.). The C compiler for Linux is gcc
and it's great.
For me it is much easier to code C/C++ in Linux. In fact I a working on a
project using MS Visual C++ in Windows and it bugs me so much I can't wait
till it's over!
