Sure. You just specify the host that you want DBI to connect to. The DBI
man page will tell you all about it. And you'll have to configure Oracle
to allow access from that host .. for PostgreSQL that's a matter of
editting the pg_hba.conf file in /var/lib/pgsql/data, I don't know what
the analog is in the Oracle world.
