CD burner not working with cd-rw anymore

Notice how it is a 6x4x32 drive?  That means 6x CD-R, 4x CD-RW (the
highest old CD-RW went before high speed) and 32x read.  It won't touch
a CD-RW high speed media.  Generally models are sepcified as
CD-R write X CD-RW write X CD read speeds.  Current top CD-RW drives are
like 52x32x52 or something similar to that.  The new DVD writers of
course end up with even more numbers for all the different media types.

Your drive is probably working perfectly, you just have the wrong media
type for it.  Not bad for such an old drive.
