Agnula Live hd install

I am trying to install Agnula Live to the hard drive via knx-hdinstall. 
Here is a cut & paste of the installation results:

When I boot I just get a flashing 'cursor' in which you cannot type 
anything.

I tried booting from the boot floppy which is created during the 
installation and get a boot: prompt and "Could not find kerenl image". I 
get that error no matter what I type in boot:

The problems (if they are indicated by lines in the script above) seem 
to start after the word "Done". At that point in tht einstallation I 
make networking choices like IP address, netmask, etc. Is the installer 
having trouble creating and accessing files and directories? If so, why 
does it not just create them.

I'm trying to join the agnula users lists as well but it is taking a 
while for some reason.

Any ideas?
