Using Microsoft keyboard hot keys

I have had good luck with lineak, it has configs for _many_ keyboards, 
and is has a simple mechanism for configuring the actions for a 
particular key.  It nicely maps the spinwheel on my logitec keyboard to 
volume up/down..
