Hi Chris,

Perhaps 'ro' is the default mount option. You should really add 'rw' to
/etc/fstab (changing the third column to 'auto,rw').

Check the output of "mount | grep floppy" (after mounting the floppy) to
see if it is mounted ro or rw. For example, my output is:

$ mount | grep floppy
/dev/fd0 on /floppy type vfat (rw,nosuid,nodev,sync,dirsync,user=anton)
                               ^^ read-write!

If it says 'ro', add the 'rw' flag to /etc/ftab
