trouble deleting files off of a floppy

Yeah, someone else also said I should check that /mnt/floppy is not 
mounted read-only.

Yet I look in /etc/fstab and see no 'ro' entry:

/dev/fd0                /mnt/floppy             auto    
noauto,owner,kudzu 00

Still I get,

Error while moving items to /mnt/floppy/.Trach-chris. The destination 
disk is read-only.
