Mandrake or Fedora?

Mepis does indeed look mildly interesting but it is hardly a replacement 
for more established distros like Red Hat, Mandrake, or SuSE. I have 
downloaded and will take a look but I have to wonder why the world needs 
Mepis. I guess I will find out.
