up2date using Fedora Core 1

yes, you should comment out those lines (they must be left over
from your old redhat... this is a computer you updated from redhatX.X
right?).  AFAIK, up2date was modified for Fedora.

I will send you the file over email, directly.  I prefer not posting
attachments on mailing-lists.
