Ease of installation?

Beat me to the punch that time.  To make sure this process happens WITHOUT 
SuSE simply not doing the defrag, I'll be sure to to record the partition 
size before and after.  Len, or others, is it proper that I fdisk (ms-dos) 
the HD with only one partition before this little test or is there a better 
way to make sure the results are absolute?
