Someone I was talking to yesterday had the same problem with a Sony Clie
4.0 and he seemed to indicate that he had forgotten to include both EHCI
and UHCI drivers (USB 2 and USB 1 respectively) and that it might have
been the cause of the problem for him.  Some systems of course use OHCI
instead of UHCI.

Other than that, not sure.  I don't have access to such a device to try
it out myself.
