I trust everyone here knows that one of the things the MyDoom virus left
behind in infected machines was zombie software (making infected machines
act as open mail relays). Something the above Globe and Mail author should
likely be made aware of. Put another way, spammers looking for a way to get
their @#$% out there and make extra $$. A story about that here:

Bottom line a 15% increase in spam just due to MyDoom....
