I seem to recall the AMSTeX website crashing KHTML (i.e. both
Konqueror and Safari,
and very probably any other browser based on certain buggy versions of
KHTML).  This
was within the past year and a half.  (probably closer to the
year-and-a-half-ago mark,
though, which is a long time ago as these things go)
