If you want to run a server, make sure that you're ISP is generally OK
with that.  Most of them aren't (technically) although I haven't heard
of them prosecuting these things with any kind of prejudice.  There are,
however, ISPs which explicitly allow them.  One of them, which is very
Linux friendly, is www.istop.com.
