Well perhaps they just haven't given it an honest try.  I first gave it a 
fling 2 years ago but never followed through to completion, it's just this 
year that I put the effort into setting it up properly.

Doesn't that mean that you're sending confirmation messages for the viruses?  
I filter for viruses first in my .procmailrc to avoid that.
