Hello,
Wonder if anyone has any suggestion? I had a crash (probably
caused by overheating) after which I haven't been
able to login into Debian Linux. When I try I get the error:
"-bash:error while loading shared libraries. libcurses.so.5 cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory." (It allowed me to enter
user name and password but then wouldn't let me in.)
I have another installation of linux on a second partition which I was
able to log into. I tried using fsck -f on original root partition.
Although it fixed a number of errors, I still couldn't get through the
log-in prompt. Am I out of luck or is there anything else I can try to fix
it?
Alex
