Unusual Quantities of Spam?

I have been getting just _inundated_ with the stupid "Security
messages from Microsoft" spam messages.  A couple thousand since noon.
X-Mailer: MH-E 7.3; nmh 1.1-RC1; XEmacs 21.4 (patch 13)

Anyone else know of something Truly Evil going on?
