I just checked the settings/permissions on a SunOS box I have access to
since I don't run Sendmail on Linux anymore. The directory which contains
the files with the received mail has settings of 755 and chown of root.mail
while the files in the directory are all 660 and chown'ed <user>.mail where
<user> is a user ID as listed in /etc/passwd.
