I've seen stats from many GigE router ports running > 500mbps full-duplex.
You won't see it on a PC since there's no open-source, widely-used OS that
can route >1million packets/sec. It can be done on a modest (1-2Ghz) CPU
if someone with clue takes the time to write the code...
