That's weird, I just tried it and I get the same problem:

SMTP server problem (-113): No route to host
Message is left in outbox.

I wonder if Balsa doesn't like being NAT'ed or something...when I was
testing it I never bothered to try to send, once I saw I could not
automagically quote text for reply by selecting it with my mouse...test
over!

ya, unless you have a valid, registered mail domain you get RBL'd. It's
all part of the nightmare we share, thanks to unsecured relays and evil
spammers.
