Linux Scanners

Speaking of scanners, I would like to recommend Vuescan 
(http://www.hamrick.com/vsm.html).  Although it is non-free software, it 
is the only way I could get my Canon film scanner to work on Linux and 
is high quality with a lot of options.  Vuescan software is available 
for Linux, Windows and Mac OSX.
