dos to unix CR/LF conversion?

Thanks to all who answered.
I did as James suggested and found the app dos2unix at 
<www.megaloman.com/~hany/software/hd2u/>.
Unfortunately, at first glance, it seems to delete ^m but doesn't seem to 
insert ^r?  That's what happened to my text file.  That's just a minor 
tweak to the source code, though.
