I have seen some interesting arguments on this thread (I think I am the
o.p.). My thinking is, that the point is, what do the borg lawyers think,
not what the list thinks. The borg lawyers have deep enough pockets so
they can think whatever they want. That probably includes thinking that
the earth is in fact, flat. My question more or less was, what would the
impact on Linux be in *that* case.
