/etc/hosts

Hi All,

I have an unconnected local subnet.
I have one machine on it so far.
I wonder what will be the effect if I have two entries in the /etc/hosts 
file for the same machine?

192.168.1.9	johannes	johaness.blanco.org
192.168.1.9	geeklog		geeklog.net

Is this kosher?
resolveip seems to find both entries.
