David Collier-Brown
I'm a Solaris and Linux performance engineer and capacity planner, formerly with Sun, and still mostly consulting for them through Trek Logic or Data Center Works.
In my Copious Spare Time I support Samba (and once wrote about it for O'Reilly) and do the occasional talk for TLUG and conferences.
I happily consult on
- Performance Analysis and Capacity Planning, with Teamquest
- Porting to and from almost every kind of Unix. If you are moving something to Linux, email me and see if I have spare time to donate.
- Solaris customs and specials
- Data Center management, maturity and stability
- Remote systems management, and
- Samba.
