There are corner cases where the file view is still better than<br>
content view, but for 99.9% of the cases out there, managing file<br>
content is much saner and far more powerful. If your project isn't<br>
absolutely massive (it's not) in terms of file/directory count, using<br>
something like subversion is not the right choice.<br>

I personally prefer git as it's a real power tool, but mercurial would<br>
also be a workable choice. Interestingly, it seems that git and<br>
mercurial are the only two real choices left in the dvcs field...all<br>
others seem to have fallen by the wayside.<br>
