</div>I was talking to a couple of Windows git users recently, one of whom<br>
recommended msysgit and/or Smartgit (commercial), while the other was a<br>
temporarily-displaced Unix user who recommended installing Cygwin and<br>
using traditional commandline git thereunder. Your mileage may vary.<br>
