<br>It seems like a fine idea for GM to be hiring people; for them to have a broader set of people doing stuff that supports the staggeringly large set of retirees collecting pensions is pretty essential. (Speaking just of GM Canada, there are about 30K retirees, but only about 10K employees... That seems like trouble to me...)<br>
