The official policy <a href="http://www.cira.ca/assets/Documents/Legal/Registrants/CPR.pdf">is in a PDF</a>, but <a href="http://support.easydns.com/canpresence.php3">there is also a simple link</a> describing it.<br><div>

When I worked in the domain industry (up until May 2011), there was no mention of needing a passport to register a .CA domain. That may have been the case previously, but it is no longer a requirement. It's different if you're changing the information on a domain (i.e. your e-mail address is no longer valid), but registering it is a much simpler process.<div>

passport for my .ca domain. Things I've heard have led me to believe<br>
that requirements were more stringent many years ago.<br>
