That would be good. I don't recall reading that. Ubuntu used to offer a classic mode but that was supposed to have been dropped as of the lastest (current) release..</blockquote><div><br>Ubuntu offers classic mode since they moved to Unity, however this classic mode only resembles the older interface with few changes in the top row, there is no way to put widgets on this row is it was possible in Gnome 2.x<br>
