FWIW I have been running Ubuntu 10.04 on 2 of my machines for... possibly years, I can't remember. No dramas. I think that the thing to do with Ubuntu is always wait at least 4 months after the new release comes out before trying it. By that time, most of the fixing and polishing will have been done. <br>
<br>Then, if there is anything you want to try, add the PPA. And furthermore, just because there is a new release, doesn't mean you need to run it. <br><br>I hope all the "its broken" folks filed bugs. <br>
